Article 2

Any student misconduct on or near a bus which is judged dangerous, distracting, or inappropriate and which therefore jeopardizes the safety of students on the bus will result in disciplinary action.  Below is a general guideline:

1^st offense = warning

2^nd offense = bus suspension of up to 3 days

3^rd offense = bus suspension of up to 10 days

4^th offense = suspension from busing up to one year is possible upon board action

Please take this opportunity to discuss with your child the importance of appropriate behavior at all times when on a school bus.  Please note that riding a bus to or from school is a privilege, not a student right.  Students are expected to demonstrate safe and compliant behaviors in order to continue bus privileges.
